ARK 4.8.2 Release Notes

Bug Fixes:

Level Tool(s) Affected Product(s) Affected Description
1 Microcard Consolidator, Foundation Fixed an issue that was preventing users from communicating with Foundation or Consolidator devices when using the Microcard.
1 All Foundation The highcut filter was not being disabled correctly when 16 kHz was selected as the centre frequency. This was only occuring for libraries created using ARKonline.
2 IDS All The minimum output sensitivity value on the CalConfig->Setup tab in IDS was changing from 84 to 86 when you switched products in the library. The value now stays at 84.
2 ARKonline wizard Paragon Selecting only 1 mic omni on the Front End page in the wizard and then clicking 'Next' would result in a 'page not found' error.
2 ARKonline wizard Foundation, Consolidator Removed 15 kHz from the list of possible frequency values for the parametric highcut filter. This frequency does not produce a stable biquad filter.
1 CalConfig Consolidator GA3227 Demo Library trimmer product was giving subscript out of range error when CalConfig was run twice in a row.
1 Filter Designer Plus GA3284 When switching from a Consolidator/Foundation platform in FDP to GA3284, the sampling frequency options were not updated correctly. The options were still 24 and 32 kHz.
2 CalConfig Foundation, Consolidator When calibrating a product to have a sampling frequency of 24kHz, the wideband gain was approximately 1-2dB off from its expected value, depending on the microphone and receiver used.
2 CalConfig Venture, GA3284 The Frontwave calibration was not calculating the Null Depth correctly.

Bug Fixes:

Level Tool(s) Affected Product(s) Affected Description
1 All GA3226 In Mic plus Telecoil or Mic plus DAI mode, under certain acoustic conditions there was a notch in the frequency response when the Feedback Canceller was enabled.
2 All DSP Programmer 2 Serial ID was not being read out correctly for DSP Programmer 2's.
2 IDS Venture Programming a very small beta value in directional mode was causing artifacts.
2 All GA3226 FBC delay range limited to >=1 and <=50 for the GA3226 Demo Library.
2 All MicroConnect Errors in Microconnect.inf file would not allow MicroConnect programmer to be installed correctly.
2 Modeler All Using the Frye 7000, the 100 Hz Level Detector read was incorrectly reading out too low. This would cause the 100 Hz value to be modeled incorrectly.
3 Filter Designer Plus Foundation Foundation was not showing sampling frequency options all the time in Filter Designer Plus.
3 Filter Designer Plus Venture, GA3226 When transferring coefficients to IDS, users will get an Element Not Found Run-time error if the coefficients generated were out of range.
